ROWAN II

Astoria, New York City  USA

INFO+

Rowan II is conceived as a sculptural contemporary residential building, defined by fluid geometry, rounded corners, layered volumes, and a dynamic composition of terraces and expansive glazing. The architecture moves beyond the conventional urban apartment façade, creating a distinctive identity through carefully articulated massing, deep recesses, cantilevered elements, and a refined, light-toned material palette.

A defining quality of Rowan II is the creation of unique residences with generous private terraces, extending the living experience beyond the interior and strengthening the connection between architecture, light, air, and the city. The building’s architectural expression is complemented by an expansive collection of amenities creating a layered lifestyle experience within the building itself.

At the heart of the design is INOA’s signature approach to contemporary residential architecture—transforming a familiar urban typology through sculptural form, fluid transitions, strong indoor–outdoor relationships, and carefully framed moments of light and space. Rowan II is not simply a residential building, but an architectural environment where the façade, residences, terraces, and amenities work together to create a sophisticated and highly experiential way of living.
